Last updated: August 19, 2026

1. Introduction

ChargeWorld LLC ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service to research home EV chargers and connect with installers and dealers. Because our Service connects homeowners with independent installers and dealerships, a central part of how it works is sharing your project information with those third parties. Please read this policy carefully.

We may collect information you provide directly, including:

  • Name and contact information (email address, phone number)
  • Account credentials (username, password)
  • Company or organization name (for dealers and installers)
  • Payment and billing information, where a paid feature applies
  • Communications with us

2.2 Project Information

To recommend a charger and connect you with an installer, we collect details about your home charging project, including:

  • Home or installation address
  • Vehicle information (make, model, and year)

  • Electrical service details, such as panel size, service voltage, distance from the panel to the parking area, and other major electrical loads
  • Photos you upload, such as of your electrical panel or parking area
  • Quotes, messages, and status updates related to your project

Electrical panel photo analysis

If you use the panel photo assessment, your photos may contain personal details visible in the image. ChargeWorld sends only the photo and the minimum analysis instructions to Amazon Bedrock. We do not add your name, contact details, street address, or account identifiers to the model request. Panel photos are stored privately and automatically deleted within 60 days. Structured panel information extracted from the photos may remain with your project after the images are deleted.

  • Device information (browser type, operating system)
  • Usage data (pages visited, time spent, features used)

2.4 Information from Third Parties

We may receive information about you from third parties, such as a dealership that refers you to the Service and creates a project on your behalf, or from authentication providers, payment processors, and hosting or CDN providers you interact with through the platform.

3. How We Use Your Information

4. How We Share Your Information

We may share your information with:

4.1 Installers and Dealers

This is central to how the Service works. When you request a recommendation or quote, we share your project information, including your name, contact details, installation address, vehicle, electrical panel details, and any photos you upload, with one or more independent licensed installers and, where applicable, the referring dealership, so they can evaluate your project, prepare a quote, and perform the installation. These installers and dealers are independent businesses and are not controlled by ChargeWorld. They use your information under their own privacy practices, and we encourage you to review their policies before engaging them.

4.2 Service Providers

Third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing, data analysis, email delivery, hosting services, and customer service.

4.3 Business Transfers

In connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred.

4.4 Legal Requirements

When required by law or to protect our rights, we may disclose your information to comply with legal processes, enforce our policies, or respond to claims.

4.5 With Your Consent

We may share information with third parties when you have given us permission to do so.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We also cannot control how installers or dealers store or handle information once it is shared with them.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. When we no longer need your information, we will securely delete or anonymize it.
